The Eco Club, NSS Unit and EVS Department of Yemhi Memorial College, Nepali Basti Dimapur observed World Environment Day on the 4th of June, 2019 under the theme “Air Pollution” which is the global theme of 2019.
The Resource Person Ms. Kezia Yepthomi from Ambedkar University, New Delhi gave a discourse on the impact of human negligence to conserve and preserve the environment with the aid of Power Point presentation and Video Clips. She urged upon the students to take a stand to protect the Environment and make it the “battle of our lives”.
The awareness Campaign was followed by a practical move of cleaning the college campus and the vicinity nearby.
