The Student Council, Yemhi Memorial College under the aegis of the Advisory Board organised its 6th Annual Fresher’s Meet on the 11th of July to welcome the batch of 2019.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr C.P Alexander, Vice-Chancellor ICFAI University, Nagaland. In his address he urges the teachers to take the dual role of an educator and motivator, while felicitating the students, he stresses on the importance of holding onto reality and not losing touch with nature. He advices the students not to be delusional and depend solely on livelihood but instead become a graduate social asset.
Tokuho Jakhalu and Teisovinuo Pohena were declared the Mr. Fresher’s and Miss Fresher’s of 2019.
