REPORT ON THE 9th ANNUAL FRESHERS’ DAY, 2023

Yemhi Memorial College organised its 9th Annual Freshers’ Meet on 29th August,2023 at the college campus under the theme ‘Chase the Vision’.
The event was graced by Dr. Kaba Daniel Principal YMC and special invitees of student representatives from City College Dimapur, Unity College Dimapur, Sakus Mission College, MGM College and Immanuel College. The formal session was chaired by Mr. Hekaho Sumi of B.A 5th Semester and invocation was pronounced by Mr. Tunavi Yeptho, President, YMCEU. In his welcome address Mr. Mhademo Yanthan, President, YMCSC urged on the importance of building good character and better relationship with one another. Dr. Kaba Daniel, Principal, YMC encouraged the freshers to be resourceful and to bring positive impact in the society. Ms. Arenchungla Walling of B.A.1st Semester in her Freshers’ address narrates the dilemma of a student starting college and extend her sincere gratitude to the teachers and seniors in helping them navigate the challenges, achievements and milestones that came along the way.
Mr. Toto S. Holo and Ms. Thungchibeni R. Murry was crowned Mister and Miss Fresher,2023. Ms. Sentirenla Longkumer was graced with the title of Best Walk and Mr. Rahul Shetty was given the title of Mr. Well Dressed. After an array of entertainment and presentation the programme came to an end with words of gratitude from Ms. Viboli, Vice- President, YMCSC and a benedictory prayer from Ms. Likuvu H. Jimo, Vice President, YMCEU.
