YEMHI MEMORIAL COLLEGE CELEBRATES WORLD DAY AGAINST SOCIAL INJUSTICE

Date- 20/02/25 On account of the World Day of Justice,the Department of political science Yemhi Memorial College organised the programme with special focus on social issues. A total of Six students participated in the competition and articulated on the topic Uniform Civil Code -A Path Towards Justice .

Viboli Achumi BA 6th semester aroused as the Best speaker for the events .She deliberated on the personal laws and the discrimination that is meted towards women in terms of divorces and inheritances and sustained that Uniform civil code can be a panacea for the existing problem. The Chairperson for the event – Mr Hikivi (BA 6th Semester). The judges for the day Miss Akali Hod Department of History Sir Paunamheing Perang Assistant Professor Department of Sociology and the event concluded with votes of thanks from Rampausuipeule of B.A final year student.
