Report on a one day orientation on “Skill Development” held on 11th March 2020 organised by IQAC, YMC

An orientation programme for the BA 6^th semester students on “Skill Development” was held on 11^th March 2020 at the College Conference Room. It was organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell, YMC in collaboration with Pinnacle Skills, Dimapur. Mr. Debojyoti Sarkar, Head, Operations, Pinnacle Skills, Dimapur, Nagaland was the resource speaker.

Addressing the students, he shared about the importance of career planning so as to provide a roadmap for the future. Reminding the students that the graduation year is the right time to plan for one’s future, he shared about the Pinnacle Skills free training in Tourism and Hospitality to be given to all unemployed youth for three months w.e.f. (May-July). He requested the interested students to avail the opportunity provided by them, assuring them of 100% placement after the course completion.

The programme started with a welcome note and introduction of the resource speaker by  Dr. Kaba Daniel, Principal, YMC, Dimapur. All together 24 students attended the programme.
