Parents – Teachers Association of Yemhi Memorial College organised its 3rd PTA Meet on the 7th of March at the college auditorium.
Ms Temsunaro Imchen, PTA Incharge, in her keynote address, spoke on the importance of building a strong working relation among parents, teachers and the institution to promote the welfare of the students. She highlighted the various educational activities and initiatives undertaken by the college for the development of the students. She also ensured the parents that the college is offering the best learning experience for the students.
Ms Amongla Imsong, informed the parents about the university guidelines regarding exams, curriculum and attendance. She emphasized on how the college is working its way to ensure quality education and how it is trying to define the lives of the students. Principal, Dr. Kaba Daniel exhorted the gathering. Altogether 57 parents & guardians attended the meeting. During the discussion hour, parents suggested the college to initiate SMS facility to update them about their ward. Ms Nagali, Mr Alex and Mr Kasthang were elected as the Parent Representatives.
