A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE MINISTRY:
The Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI) is a non-profit organization, registered in India. It seeks to evangelise post-matric students in India, nurture them a disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, that they may serve the Church and society.
UESI is an inter-denominational; it stands on the common ground of all evangelical churches.

VISION OF UESI:
Transformed students impacting the campuses and nation as disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

MISSION OF UESI:
UESI seeks to evangelize post-matric students in India, nurture them as disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ that they may serve the Church and Society.

AIMS:
1. Evangelism:
To present the claims of Jesus Christ so that other students may come to a personal experience of Him as Saviour, Lord and God, through the new birth.
2. Fellowship:
To have fellowship with all students of like precious faith for mutual help and growth in the Christian life, especially by means of Bible study and prayer, and to encourage one another in witnessing for Christ.
3. Testimony:
To raise in the Colleges a testimony to the truths of the historic Christian faith,and present their message for the whole of life and the problems of mankind.
4. Mission:
To present God’s missionary command and so to help students discover and obey His will for them at home or abroad in world evangelization.

Basing on the above objectives, aims and guidelines of UESI, the Evangelical Union, Yemhi Memorial College (EUYMC) was formed on 13th of February 2015. So far the EUYMC conducted 13 fellowships, one Bible study and a special movie show. The first batch of Committee members was consecrated on 16th of April 2015 by Dr. Newmai Senior Advisor DICEU. The EUYMC conducts its weekly fellowship on Friday (non-working Saturday) and on Saturday (working Saturday).

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
Greetings to you all in the Blessed name of Our Lord and Saviour. It is indeed a great pleasure for me to be working together in this ministry which I consider a Life-changing ministry. I give all praises to our Almighty for answering to our prayers and making our dreams into reality. This ministry has moulded and changed thousands of lives and we are blessed to have this ministry in our college. I and on behalf of the EUYMC family thank Bro. Edward , Staff Worker UESI and His team for your constant prayers and support thus far. I personally thank Shri. Joshua, the Administrator and Shri. Makhan Chetia, the principal of this college for their willingness and unwavering support towards this ministry. I also thank and appreciate the contributions of the teaching faculties and their support which keeps this ministry going. Looking forward for your prayers and kind contributions in the days to come.
Dear brothers and sisters, This is my fervent believe that God will work wonders in your life through this ministry. Being in this ministry, you will experience the love of God and your personal relationship with God will be built up. It is always a pleasure and joy to be in the fellowship of believers. “Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the day approaching” Hebrews 10:25.
Lastly but not the least, may you all find pleasure in His service. May EUYMC grow from strength to strength and may this ministry continue to be a channel of blessings to all who come across.
